Here at Sunroom, all of our memberships to creators are purchased as a monthly subscription that auto renews indefinitely until the user (you) decides to cancel. Luckily, you can manage all your subscriptions yourself from your device, by following the steps outlined below:
Canceling a membership purchased on Sunroom's iOS App
For Active Sunroom Account Users
- Login to the app
- Go to your Sunroom Profile Page to see all of your memberships
- Tap the creator’s tile whose membership you’d like to cancel
- From their profile, tap Member > Cancel Paid Membership > Continue to Cancel. From there, you’ll have the opportunity to leave feedback for the creator on why you’re canceling.
- Once you’ve filled that out, it’ll show you the unique creator ID you’ll need in order to locate this subscription in your device settings (i.e. $14.40 Membership - Creator 8). Tip: It’s important that you remember this tag to make sure you’re canceling the right membership
- From there go to your Device settings > Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases > Subscriptions
- Scroll until you find the Subscription ID > Cancel Subscription > Confirm.
For Inactive Sunroom Accounts: No problem! Since your membership was purchased via iTunes, you can cancel it through your phone settings:
- Go to your phone's Settings
- Tap Apple ID, iCloud+, Media & Purchases
- Select "Media & Purchases" and tap "View Account"
- Scroll down and tap "Subscriptions"
- Choose any with the Sunroom logo > "Cancel Subscription" > "Confirm Cancellation"
Please note: All memberships purchased in app are managed by Apple. Sunroom is unable to cancel or refund any purchases that were made through your iTunes account. Cancelling a membership purchased on Sunroom Web
For Active Sunroom Account Users:
- Log into Sunroom on your web browser
- Go to your Profile Page to see all of your memberships
- Tap the creator’s tile whose membership you’d like to cancel
- From their profile, tap Member > “Yes” when it asks if you want to Cancel Membership
- You’re all set!
For Inactive (Deleted) Sunroom Accounts:
If you've deleted your Sunroom account before canceling your paid subscriptions, please write in to us at support@sunroom.so so we can manually cancel on your behalf. Be sure to share your username & email address so we can locate your details!
As a reminder, deleting your Sunroom account does not automatically unsubscribe you from any active subscriptions. All memberships are auto-renewing until canceled.
