Adding captions

Adding captions to your posts are a great way to offer more details about what you’re sharing and encourage likes, comments and further engagement with your audience.

On Sunroom, you can add a caption to a photo or video you've already shared, or edit or delete the caption you originally included.

To add a caption while uploading/sharing a new post:

1. Click “ + “ at the bottom of the screen
2. Choose which type of content you want to upload: Text Post or Photo & Video Post

For Photo & Video Posts: 

1. 1. Choose a photo or video from your camera roll
   2. Tap “Done”
   3. Decide the order of your post by dragging & moving the media you’ve selected 
   4. Tap “Next”
   5. Here you'll be able to see a small preview of your selected media & Describe Your Post by adding or editing a caption. 
   6. Tap “Done” and you’re good to go!

For Text Posts:

1. 1. Type in your text for the first part and choose if if you want to add more parts to your post.
   2. Once you’re satisfied with your text, tap “Continue” to choose a background color
   3. Here you'll be able to see a small preview of your selected media & Describe Your Post by adding or editing a caption. 
   4. Tap “Done” and you’re all set!

To add, edit or delete a caption for a previously shared post:

1. Click “ + “ at the bottom of the screen
2. Select “Existing Post” 
3. Choose which post you want to edit
4. Confirm/Modify the the order of your post parts and tap “Next”
5. Here you'll be able to Describe Your Post by adding or editing a caption. 
6. Tap “Done” and you’re all set!
