Not able to view certain content or experiencing slow content loading? There are a few troubleshooting steps we recommend trying that may resolve the issue. Follow the instructions below – if the issue persists, please let us know! We’re happy to look into things further.
- Verify that your device supports Widevine L1. Widevine L1 is required by Sunroom due to our anti screenshot technology (similar to apps like Netflix and Hulu). You're probably aware of that software already as other apps also require it. If your device does not support Widevine - please use a desktop or other compatible device to enjoy Sunroom.
- Ensure you’re in a separate web browser (not an IG popup window). Sadly, the IG pop up browser blocks a lot of content, so ensuring you're in your own window will solve the loading issues.
- Download latest version of Google Chrome. Our anti-screenshot technology (Sunblock) requires the latest version of Google Chrome to work successfully. You can check the Google Play Store to see if there's an update available. If there is, please download the latest version and then reboot your phone. Once your device is back on, clear your cache & refresh the Chrome browser for a full reset.
- Refresh your browser. Our screenshot blocking technology sometimes requires a page refresh to reboot the system
- Check your network connection. Make sure your wifi connection is stable (at least 10mbps+ on a speed test site like fast.com). You can also try rebooting your router to manually refresh your wifi network as well.
- Check your available storage. If your device is completely out of or has very limited storage, it can slow down loading speeds, as well.
- Clear your cache. Try clearing your stored browsing data (ie: cookies and cached images and files). Clearing them frees up more space for the browser to load your media quicker. On a Chrome browser, you can clear your cache & cookies by following these steps: Open the Chrome App > tap “More” at the top right > tap History and select Clear browsing data > select “All Time” to delete everything > Check the boxes for "Cookies and site data" and "Cached images and files" > tap Clear data.
- Update your device software. Please check your device settings for any available software upgrades.
- Adjust your View Mode. Try switching your browser mode from Mobile View to Desktop Mode.
